ESPRESSO T.V. 50 Years Of Cha Cha Cha 1 x 28'
Filmed in Cuba this documentary tells the story of the origins of Cha Cha Cha, the Cuban dance music that became popular all over the world in the decade of the fifties. Still very alive today, Ninon Mondejar, founder of the Orquestra America, whose composers wrote much of the most famous Cha Cha Cha music, explains to us how the dance music came about in 1952. We see his group playing in Mexican movies of the fifties and fifty years later the same orchestra rehearsing in a backyard in the rhythm on the guiro and how to move your feet. Cha Cha Cha is alive and well!
