London Underground

Filming for the award-winning
documentary series
"THE TUBE" (made for ITV London and Sky Travel) has resulted in a wealth of
exclusive footage of the London Underground becoming available for archive use.
This is augmented by material shot
during the making of the "THE TUBE UNDER ATTACK", a two-part special filmed on
the day of the London bombing (7th July 2005) and the days that followed.

This archive covers every
conceivable situation, with footage from every tube line and from many stations and
depots.

Among the generic scenes shot are:
TUBE LINES
TUBE TRAINS (including footage from the
driver's cab on many different lines)
TRAIN STATIONS (very often with exterior
shots and name signs)
EXTERIORS OF LONDON LANDMARKS
SHOTS OF TUBE TRAINS PASSING
THROUGH LONDON (from close and afar)
ENGINEERING WORKS
CONTROL ROOMS
MAINTENANCE WORK
BUILDING WORK
WORKING AT NIGHT IN EMPTY
TUNNELS
SIGNALS
EXTERIORS OF LONDON LANDMARKS
STATION INTERIORS
PLATFORMS
ESCALATORS
CROWDS
And, by negotiation only, scenes
with individual workers at all levels of the organisation and associated staff,
eg Metronet, Tubelines and the Transport Police.
